Sterilization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sterilization Specialist to join our team.

As a Sterilization Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of sterilization equipment and procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines. This includes monitoring and maintaining accurate records of sterilization cycles, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance schedules.

You will also conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Additionally, you will operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including autoclaves, dryers, and washer-disinfectors, and prepare and implement sterilization protocols for various medical devices and equipment.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have formal education in a relevant field, such as biomedical science or healthcare management, and previous experience in a related role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of sterilization principles, regulations, and best practices is also essential.

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines, interact with various stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, administrators, and patients, and adhere to strict quality control measures to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
