Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Fine Fibre Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's financial strategy and ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial control and reporting systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance insights.
  • Conduct strategic financial modelling and scenario analysis to inform commercial business decisions.
  • Optimise corporate tax and quarterly reporting to ensure compliance and minimise risk.
  • Stay up-to-date with global accounting and legal frameworks to ensure optimal corporate outcomes.
  • Enhance corporate governance, including risk management and compliance.
  • Support commercial third-party arrangements, including negotiations and tenders.
  • Manage offshore finance team members and enhance offshore operations.
  • Secure and fix commodity trades against the International Commodities Exchange.

Ideal Experience:

  • Suitable tertiary qualifications in accounting and finance.
  • CA or CPA qualified or equivalent.
  • Proven career path through in-house finance roles, with a strong financial control background.
  • Strong understanding of international finance considerations and accounting treatments.
  • Commercial finance background driving strategic growth, including management reporting and performance insights.
  • Prior experience in a B2B sales and service environment.
  • Working with offshore partners.
  • Proactive self-starter with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

This is a hands-on role that requires someone to deliver across multiple aspects of finance and management, without the ability to delegate to a large team.

Please note: Ability to read and write in Bengali will be an advantage due to our business involvement in the fibre and garment industry in Bangladesh.
