Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Fine Fibre Pty Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's financial operations and strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance insights, to inform business decisions.
  • Financial Modelling and Scenario Analysis: Create and maintain complex financial models to drive commercial business decisions and optimize corporate outcomes.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to global accounting and legal frameworks, and manage risk and compliance to protect the company's interests.
  • Offshore Finance Management: Oversee the management of offshore finance team members and enhance offshore operations to drive business growth.
  • Commodity Trading and Risk Management: Secure and fix commodity trades against the International Commodities Exchange, and manage associated risks.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance, CA or CPA qualified, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven career path through in-house finance roles, with strong financial control skills and experience in commodities trading.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of international finance considerations, accounting treatments, and commodities markets, as well as commercial finance background and management reporting experience.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and write in Bengali is an advantage.
