About the Role:

Leveraging recent success in securing projects in metro and regional Australia, bolstered by a robust pipeline of forthcoming work, we seek dedicated Project Managers to enhance our Building and Construction, Commercial and Architectural team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across a diverse array of projects within our expansive portfolio located predominately in South Australia (SA) and the Northern Territory (NT). As a direct report to the Construction Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage projects from contract award through execution and close-out successfully.

This role requires effectively managing internal and external stakeholders and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget, and with desired outcomes aligned with the company's objectives and values.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning, organising, and directing the completion of projects within a given timeframe, scope, and budget.
  • Building effective communication and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Effective project planning – including cost and schedule estimation where required.
  • Undertaking risk analysis and development of project planning artefacts.
  • Understanding commercial processes, including cost control, project reporting, procurement, and contract management.
  • Ensuring compliance with customers and company safety, quality, and business processes.
  • Keeping stakeholders updated through internal and accurate project reporting.

About You:

The ideal candidate will possess at least five years of experience in a Project Manager role, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects in the Commercial sector. This position offers a chance to collaborate with a dynamic team of skilled professionals, impart technical expertise, offer guidance, and share best practices.

The successful applicant shall demonstrate:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering or related discipline.
  • Previous experience working as a Project Manager or Senior Project Coordinator for a Head Contractor / or Managing Contractor.
  • Proven industry experience on brown or greenfield building projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, fostering collaboration when interacting with project teams, management, suppliers, subcontractors, and client stakeholder groups.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and efficient use of MS Project, and other MS office suite programmes.
