Logistics Coordinator Role

We are seeking a seasoned logistics professional to join our project team on a fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) basis in the Pilbara region.

About this role

This is a 12-month contract with an option to extend up to 36 months. You will be responsible for providing project support and ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely completion of materials handling activities.

  • Develop and maintain a structured folder system within MS SharePoint.
  • Optimize space utilization and oversee the monitoring of project laydown areas.
  • Conduct audits of material stock levels to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Review business partner material take-off documentation before package execution.
  • Assist the Operational Readiness team in delivering maintenance spares to the site warehouse.
  • Manage procurement schedules and aid business partners in expediting project equipment and materials.
  • Receive and process incoming equipment and materials.
  • Inspect inbound equipment and materials to ensure compliance with transport industry loading practices and standards.
  • Support QA/QC by ensuring site acceptance compliance and material certification upon delivery to the site.
  • Collaborate with package leads to handle the logistics of company-issued items.
  • Load and unload company-issued items, including forklift operation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and within a high-performing team environment.
  • Proven experience in coordinating logistics and materials on construction projects.
  • Experience with the operation of material handling equipment.
  • Project delivery experience is highly beneficial.
  • Confident computer skills on MS Office suite.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • A full manual Australian driving licence.
  • The right to work in Australia unrestricted.
