Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering Allied Health support to participants in the community across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • To deliver high-quality Allied Health support services to individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions;
  • To work collaboratively with participants, their families and carers, as well as other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes;
  • To assess and develop individualised behaviour support plans that promote independence, choice and control;
  • To provide training and education to participants and their support networks on strategies to manage challenging behaviours;
  • To contribute to the development of new policies and procedures to improve the delivery of Allied Health support services.

Requirements

  • Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or a related field;
  • Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
