Senior Financial Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Operations Manager to lead financial performance, operational excellence, and governance across a high-performance program.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role where you'll drive financial success, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment across the organization.

  • Develop and manage program budgets, financial reporting, forecasting, and funding allocations to ensure transparency and compliance.
  • Prepare grant acquittals and compliance reporting for key stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to grant conditions.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to senior leaders to support planning, resource allocation, and decision-making.
  • Oversee governance frameworks, including risk management, policy development, and internal compliance across the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance financial capabilities and ensure strategic alignment.
  • Drive process and system improvements to increase operational efficiency and financial control.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • CA/CPA qualified with 7+ years of experience in commercially focused finance roles, coupled with exceptional business partnering capabilities.
  • Proven expertise in managing budgets, financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting within complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated operational experience with a finance lens, optimizing processes and resource allocation to drive efficiency and performance.
  • Strong background in grant management, acquittals, and compliance reporting.
  • Sound knowledge of governance frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
