Debottlenecking Project Piping Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Designer to join our team in a debottlenecking project at a wet processing plant.

The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team working on real solutions to improve processes. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise and work with a knowledgeable team of peers and managers.

Project Overview:

Our client is a blue-chip mining company focused on piping equipment, and we are supporting them in increasing tonnage and improving overall processes at their mine site. The project involves producing detailed designs for general piping layout, drawing upon knowledge of applicable standards and codes, and reviewing designs for equipment across the entire wet plant.

Key Responsibilities:

- Produce detailed designs for general piping layout
- Draw upon your knowledge of applicable standards and codes
- Review designs for equipment across the entire wet plant

Requirements:

- Advanced Diploma, Diploma or Associate Degree
- Proficiency with MicroStation and/or 2D AUTOCAD software
- Mechanical/Piping design experience gained on major projects
- Great interpersonal skills to influence, negotiate & build productive relationships
- A keen eye for detail & a knack for problem-solving
- Current right to work in Australia
