Wyndham City Corps is a community-oriented church that collaborates with the broader community to transform lives through the love of Jesus. This mission is realized through various initiatives, including Sunday Worship Services, Emergency Relief, Men's Breakfast, Café Agape, and more.

We are in search of a proactive and values-aligned Café Operations Supervisor to oversee all facets of Café Agape. This role includes supervising participants in training and skills development within the hospitality sector and coordinating meal catering.

Reporting to the Wyndham City Corps Officers, this is a part-time, fixed-term position (26 hours per week) with specific working hours.

• Overseeing the preparation, presentation, packaging, serving, and distribution of food and related items.
• Supervising participants referred from The Salvation Army Employment Plus and other Job Active Providers.
• Conducting induction sessions for new volunteers, staff, and participants relevant to café operations.
• Preparing food and beverages in compliance with Safe Food Handling legislation and safety standards.

• Proven experience in managing a commercial venue, including adherence to the Food Safety Act and local regulations.
• A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of Food Safety standards.
• Experience in training and working with marginalized individuals.
• Ability to deliver skill-based training effectively.
• Capacity to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team as well as independently when necessary.
• Basic understanding of stock control measures and cash handling processes.
• Commitment to continuous improvement in service delivery.
