This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Buying stream, supporting the Merchandise team in a dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining the buy plan, ensuring product information flows are timely and accurate.
They will also be responsible for product management and maintenance, including updates to the Buying Master Workbook, sample management, and range book development.
- Product registration and pricing accuracy
- Effective coordination of product and information flow from suppliers to stores and customers
- Data entry and maintenance for item registration, price, and promotional data
The ideal candidate will possess excellent administration skills, strong attention to detail, and good planning and time management skills.
They will also have experience in Retail or Customer Service, relevant Tertiary education, and intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
A team player with a 'can do' attitude and previous experience in a Merchandise Buying Office would be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:- Product Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date product information, including Buying Master Workbook updates, sample management, and range book development.
- Buy Plan Maintenance: Ensure timely and accurate product information flows from suppliers to stores and customers.
- Data Entry and Maintenance: Register and maintain accurate item registration, price, and promotional data.
- Supplier Communication: Coordinate effective communication with suppliers regarding product and information flow.
