This permanent, full-time position is based predominantly in Christmas Hills and offers an exciting chance to contribute to the growth and efficiency of a critical water infrastructure network across Greater Melbourne, while developing your career in the water and utilities sector.
- Support the planning, design, and execution of minor capital projects, ensuring alignment with engineering specifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Assist in developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and successful execution.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project progress and performance.
- Identify and manage project risks, and proactively resolve any issues that arise during execution.
- Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of all project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline project delivery and reporting processes.
To be successful in this role, you will have a solid background in electrical engineering, with experience in supporting the delivery of minor capital projects, preferably within the water, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
You will be a detail-oriented problem solver, capable of effectively managing multiple priorities and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in assisting with the delivery of minor capital projects, including planning, design, and execution.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency with engineering and project management software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & Power Point).
