Key Position Overview:

\

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to manage the lifecycle of nominated systems. As a key member of our engineering domain, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of nominated systems within the network services domain.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • \
  • Manage nominated platforms/systems in relation to lifecycle, capacity, performance, and risk management.\
  • Enable and support Architecture and Delivery teams in the planning, design, and execution of relevant solutions & business project outcomes.\
  • Ensure close working relationships with other engineering domains, the broader Technology organisation, and relevant vendors.\
  • Design, implement, and report on SD-WAN solution suite requirements, including governance, OSS and Security related integrations.\
  • Plan and manage capacity, performance analysis, and optimisation of systems.\
  • Support operations team during critical network incidents and system outages.\
  • Contribute to OPEX and Capex budget management of nominated systems.\
  • Engage with vendors to ensure acceptable capacity lifecycle and performance management of systems and network interfaces.\

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • \
  • Extensive experience with Fortigate SD-WAN solution ecosystem and specifically FortiGate VM02v Appliance, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiPortal & FortiWeb systems.\
  • Strong knowledge of technology security, including security best practice, vulnerability management, and mitigations.\
  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations and contribute to investigations and support operations team.\
  • Strong customer-focused attitude and engagement experience with vendors.\
