About the Role

Catholic Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Worker. As a Community Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as household chores, meal preparation, and personal care
  • Provide social support and companionship to clients
  • Transport clients to appointments and shopping
  • Assist clients with accessing community resources and services

Requirements

  • Kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable team player
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential)
