Job Title: Senior Power System Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power System Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our power advisory team, you will provide technical leadership for power system studies and play a critical role in helping clients navigate the electricity grid connection process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to securing a pipeline of work for the region in power system studies
  • Provide technical leadership on projects as required, including direction and input on tenders/bids or proactive client proposals
  • Deliver high-quality power advisory projects requiring detailed power system studies
  • Support the development of tools and systems to efficiently deliver quality power system planning and analysis advice
Requirements:
  • Technical discipline degree and/or postgraduate qualification
  • Proven proficiency in key power system analysis tools, including PSSE, PSCAD, and PowerFactory
  • Detailed understanding of the National Electricity Rules and associated guidelines defining model provision and technical performance assessment requirements for connecting to the National Electricity Market (NEM)
  • Track record of assisting clients to navigate the NEM connection and registration process
  • Strong report writing, interviewing, facilitation, and presentation skills
