Job Description

As a Senior Technician - Processing, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe and efficient processing environment. This permanent role is based at the Tropicana Gold Mine on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth or Kalgoorlie.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading by example and promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring adherence to site policies and procedures, and identifying and eliminating hazards to achieve an injury-free workplace.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • 4-5 years of experience in gold processing
  • Sound computer literacy including MS Outlook, Office, and SAP software
  • Exposure to SAP and work management systems
  • A 'can-do' and proactive attitude
  • Current WA C-class (manual) driver's license
  • Permanent work rights in Australia
  • A National Police Clearance

  • Investigating and suggesting potential solutions to plant variations and performance
  • Operating all operational areas of the processing plant, including the operations center and tailings storage facility
