Role Overview

We are seeking a recent graduate or graduating towards a tertiary degree in Civil Engineering to join our dynamic team as a Graduate Civil Engineer. This two-year program is designed to cultivate a varied set of knowledge and skills, providing exposure to diverse sectors and work environments.

The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in project support, data analysis, technical research, collaboration, documentation, problem-solving, and quality assurance.

About the Role

This role involves assisting Senior Engineers in planning, designing, and executing projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and be able to build strong rapport with cross-functional teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Support: Assist in planning, designing, and executing projects.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to support team decisions and project outcomes.
  • Technical Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and solve engineering problems.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recent graduate or graduating towards a tertiary degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in Australia.
  • Prior student vacation/internship experience in a consulting environment is highly desirable.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
