Salary

The salary for this position is $78,397 - $113,568 per annum, based on the SEA GA 2021 pay scale. This competitive salary reflects the importance of the role and the value we place on attracting and retaining top talent.

Job Description

This is a fixed-term teaching position, and successful applicants will be appointed to a specific school or location. As a teacher with the Department of Education, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students, assessing student progress, and developing individualized learning plans.

You will also be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, participate in professional development opportunities, and contribute to the broader educational community.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a relevant teaching qualification and be registered with the Western Australian College of Teaching. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

In addition, you should have a strong understanding of child development principles and practices, as well as the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
