Physical Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Security Program Manager to oversee the physical security design and implementation of electronic security systems for our organization. This role involves managing vendor relationships, developing project plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
Responsibilities:- Participate in physical security design and system installation for new data centers and special projects
- Provide project lifecycle management including bid packages, specifications, drawings, code compliance, and contract execution
- Manage vendor on-boarding and support processes
- Effectively manage multi-million dollar security project budgets
- Own and track the finance and budgeting process for security programs and projects
- 3+ years of experience working with physical security design and/or implementation of electronic security systems
- Familiarity with security in depth strategies
- 2+ years of experience in program or project management, working with both technical and non-technical teams focusing on physical security standards and designs
- 2+ years working as a Security Construction and Equipment Committee Consultant incorporating AUS Protective Security Policy Framework 15 and AUS Protective Security Policy Framework 16 and/or other AUS government regulatory standards and requirements
- Familiar project management and design and construction software
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals regarding physical security standards and system designs
- Proficient understanding of construction plans, elevations, and other design and construction artifacts for architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and telecommunications plans
