Seeking a highly skilled Urban Designer to join our team at Aspect Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of public realm projects, working closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Urban Designer to take on a challenging role, working on high-profile public realm projects in Melbourne. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from concept development to detailed design and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement design concepts for public realm projects, incorporating site analysis, community engagement, and stakeholder input.
  • Lead design teams to produce high-quality designs, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project delivery meets client expectations.
  • Conduct site assessments, analysis, and synthesis to inform design decisions.
  • Prepare and present design concepts, reports, and other documentation to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in urban design, landscape architecture, or a related field, with a focus on public realm projects.
  • Strong understanding of urban design principles, including placemaking, sustainability, and accessibility.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
What We Offer
