Senior Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at HealthcareLink. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in supervising and mentoring a small team of occupational therapists, while also managing your own caseload and working on and off site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and provide high-quality service to a diverse mixed caseload of complex clients, parents, and carers, demonstrating exemplary clinical skills.
  • Co-manage clients through clinical collaboration with other practitioners, such as physiotherapists, speech pathologists, psychologists, and dietitians, demonstrating a capacity to work independently and in a team.
  • Provide mentoring and leadership to junior and new graduate occupational therapists.
  • Participate in professional development pathways to constantly progress your knowledge and clinical skills.
  • Contribute to team culture and success with your proactive, can-do approach and high-level initiative.
  • Uphold company policies, procedures, and values.

Essential Criteria:
  • Full AHPRA registration as an OT.
  • Experience working with NDIS participants and diverse clients.
  • Experience in independently providing occupational therapy consultations.
  • Experience in a range of occupational therapy assessments.
  • Strong etiquette, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent ability to set and follow treatment schedules and manage deadlines.
  • Leadership skills and ability to mentor and support junior/graduate occupational therapists.
  • Goal-oriented, ambitious, and eager to excel.
  • Special interest in team building (desirable but not essential).
  • Proven track record in leadership (desirable but not essential).
