Occupational Therapist Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at HealthcareLink. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in supervising and mentoring a small team of occupational therapists, while also managing your own caseload and working on and off site.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and provide high-quality service to a diverse mixed caseload of complex clients, parents, and carers, demonstrating exemplary clinical skills.
- Co-manage clients through clinical collaboration with other practitioners, such as physiotherapists, speech pathologists, psychologists, and dietitians, demonstrating a capacity to work independently and in a team.
- Provide mentoring and leadership to junior and new graduate occupational therapists.
- Participate in professional development pathways to constantly progress your knowledge and clinical skills.
- Contribute to team culture and success with your proactive, can-do approach and high-level initiative.
- Uphold company policies, procedures, and values.

- Weekly supervision: You will receive regular supervision and mentoring from experienced practitioners to support your growth and development.
- Technology: You will have access to the latest technology, including mobile phones, iPads, and cloud-based software, to support your clinical practice.
- Advanced remote practice: Our clinics are paperless, and you will have access to a comprehensive intranet with clinical resources and collaboration platforms.
- Interest groups: You will have the opportunity to select from a range of interest groups, including young paeds, adolescent, disability, aged care, and home mods.
- Community access: You will have access to a work car for traveling to community consults, and travel reimbursement is provided for practitioners who prefer to use their personal car.
- Clinic-only caseload: For practitioners who prefer not to work in the community, we can provide a clinic-only caseload.
- Full AHPRA registration as an OT.
- Experience working with NDIS participants and diverse clients.
- Experience in independently providing occupational therapy consultations.
- Experience in a range of occupational therapy assessments.
- Strong etiquette, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent ability to set and follow treatment schedules and manage deadlines.
- Leadership skills and ability to mentor and support junior/graduate occupational therapists.
- Goal-oriented, ambitious, and eager to excel.
- Special interest in team building (desirable but not essential).
- Proven track record in leadership (desirable but not essential).
