Key Responsibilities:
The Clinical and Quality Advisor plays a pivotal role in supporting our Executive Leadership and Management teams. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this position requires a strong focus on compliance, safety, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key objectives include providing expert advice and practical support on quality and compliance matters, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
Specific duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Providing guidance and direction on quality and compliance matters
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve quality and reduce risk
- Leading and conducting internal audits to identify areas for improvement
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team
To be successful in this role you will require:
- A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation processes, and relevant regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead and conduct internal audits, identify compliance gaps, and implement solutions to drive continuous improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex clinical and compliance data, identify risks, and implement effective corrective actions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with staff at all levels, residents, families, and external stakeholders
