As a terminal operations professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of all aspects of terminal operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading fuel into tanker trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Helping unload fuel from ships as they come into the terminal.
  • Monitoring and operating terminal equipment.
  • Performing routine checks and maintenance on terminal facilities and gear.
  • Following all safety and environmental rules.
Requirements:
  • A trade qualification in a mechanical or technical field is highly desirable.
  • Training and experience in truck and ship loading, as well as wharf duties are a bonus but not required.
  • Experience in chemical handling facility operations is desirable.
  • Understanding of handling dangerous goods and hazardous chemicals is essential.
  • Computer literacy is required.
  • Physical fitness and a willingness to work in a hands-on environment are necessary.
  • A valid forklift license or willingness to obtain one is also required.
  • Confined space training certification or willingness to obtain it is also required.
  • Willingness to complete a police check and drug and alcohol test is also required.
