Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Manager to lead our farm operations in Regional Victoria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators and operational metrics
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of 6-8 staff to achieve excellence in a professional and commercial environment
  • Drive continuous improvement in animal welfare, productivity, quality, and environmental practices
  • Adhere to relevant legislation and company policies, including biosecurity, safety, and environmental standards
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage bird growing requirements using advanced shed management techniques
  • Ensure farm presentation and standards remain at the highest level
Requirements
  • Experience managing broiler farm operations
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with a proven track record of achieving operational excellence
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and hands-on approach to farm management
  • High regard for Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards, promoting a positive WHS culture
  • Physical fitness to perform farm duties, supported by a pre-employment functional assessment (including drug and alcohol testing)
  • The right to work in Australia
