Director of Nursing and Operations

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary nursing leader to join our team as Director of Nursing and Operations - Surgical Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for contributing to the strategic development of our hospital through the outstanding leadership of the professional nursing workforce within the surgical services program.
The successful candidate will have a strong reputation as a collaborator with leaders and staff to achieve our key priorities, with a proven capacity to define and reconcile complex and competing priorities. You will also have the ability to facilitate organisational change and support and involve staff and consumers in planning and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to improve the quality of care and services provided to patients and consumers.
- Collaborate with leaders and staff to achieve key priorities and drive organisational change.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including staff, consumers, and external partners.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing workforce to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing services and make recommendations for improvement.
