Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of a high-value industrial development in Melbourne's western corridor.

The successful candidate will lead all aspects of on-site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery. They will also coordinate and manage a diverse team of subcontractors, trades, and site staff.

  • Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage a diverse team of subcontractors, trades, and site staff.
  • Oversee implementation of project plans, construction methodologies, and sequencing.
  • Maintain control over schedule, site logistics, and documentation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, QA/QC checks, and progress reporting.
  • Liaise directly with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Mentor junior site staff and foster a collaborative team culture.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager, particularly on industrial or large-scale commercial projects.
  • Proven track record delivering projects within tight deadlines and budgets.
  • Strong command of safety and quality standards, combined with practical construction know-how.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound understanding of Victorian building regulations, OH&S practices, and industrial construction protocols.
  • Formal qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline are preferred.
