We are seeking a news journalist to join our team based in Wollongong. You will be responsible for driving digital engagement and audience growth through journalism that sets the local news agenda and attracts and retains digital subscribers.

This is a hands-on reporting role that blends breaking news with data-driven storytelling and feature writing.

The ideal candidate will have strong news-gathering and writing/reporting skills, as well as proven skills in writing for online and social media audiences with tight deadlines.

They will also possess proven educational qualifications in Communications/Journalism and a willingness to engage with the community as an agenda-setting journalist who delivers engaging coverage relevant to the local region.
