Senior Environmental Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team in Townsville. This key role will involve conducting environmental field works, collecting and interpreting data, and drafting technical reports.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site investigations, including drilling and hydrogeological testing
  • Collect and analyze large datasets to develop conceptual site models
  • Draft comprehensive technical assessment reports and recommendations
  • Manage contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and quality field works programs
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 7-12 years of experience in contaminated land management
  • Proven track record in managing medium-contaminated site projects
  • In-depth knowledge of soil contaminants, site sampling techniques, investigation methodologies, and remediation technologies for groundwater, soil, and gas
  • Familiarity with QLD regulations pertaining to the management of contaminated sites
  • A current full Australian Driver's Licence
  • Ability to meet Defence clearance requirements as an Australian Citizen or permanent resident
