Job Title: Pathways Leader

Job Summary: We are seeking an exceptional educator to lead and manage the implementation of whole-school improvement initiatives related to our school strategic plan and priorities.

  • The successful applicant will have expert knowledge of the relevant curriculum and demonstrated ability to lead and manage the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills across the curriculum.
  • Key responsibilities include leading and managing the implementation of whole-school improvement initiatives, leading and managing the implementation of whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery, and developing individual and team development plans for teaching staff within the priorities of the school.

About This Role: As a Pathways Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a significant area or function within the school with a high degree of independence. You will work closely with the Year Level Leadership teams to provide pathways and careers advice to students.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the implementation of whole-school improvement initiatives related to the school strategic plan and priorities.
  • Develop and implement Career Action Plans for all students.
  • Design and implement professional learning programs for staff as directed.
  • Support Year Level Leadership teams regarding pathways and careers advice for students.
  • Lead and manage the provision of professional development for teaching staff within the priorities of the school.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, demonstrated expert knowledge of the relevant curriculum, and the ability to lead and manage the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills across the curriculum.
