We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our retail team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing daily operations, achieving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in managing daily operations, including stock management, merchandising, and customer service.
  • Achieve sales growth and meet regular KPI targets for your department.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and sales results.
  • Communicate management expectations and lead by example.
  • High volume stock management, including stocktakes and stock integrity initiatives.
  • Merchandising and visual merchandising to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Launch catalogue campaigns and implement effective ticketing and set-ups.
  • Assist in recruitment, training, and development functions for your team.

Requirements:

  • Retail management experience is essential.
  • High volume or big box stock volume management experience is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills and an owner's mindset.
  • Passionate attitude that inspires team members to exceed goals.
  • Experience in development and performance plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in retail systems.
  • First Aid certification or willingness to be trained.
