This is an exceptional opportunity for an Emergency Medicine Specialist to take on a Staff Specialist position in a state-of-the-art facility.
The Role
As a Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, mentoring junior medical staff, and contributing to the development of our Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and stabilization
- Participate in on-call roster, providing after-hours care and coverage
- Mentor junior medical staff, providing guidance and support in clinical decision-making
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures in the Emergency Department
Requirements
- Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM)
- General and Specialist registration with AHPRA
- Mandatory possession of an approved medicine degree from a registered tertiary institution
