Ndis Support Coordinator Role

This is a role for an experienced professional who can work collaboratively with individuals with disabilities to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.

About the Job:
  • Work with NDIS participants to maximise their support budget and ensure they have access to the services and resources they need.
  • Build relationships with participants, their families and carers to understand their needs and develop tailored support plans.
  • Assist participants to gain access to mainstream or community services such as housing, education, transport and health.
  • Develop participant capacity so they can exercise greater choice and control over their lives.
  • E nsure all necessary paperwork and reporting are completed in a timely manner to comply with regulations.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have:

Key Requirements:
  • A thorough understanding of disability services, NDIS and inclusion principles.
  • The ability to identify barriers to supports and develop solutions to overcome them.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage conflict and resolve/mediate as required.
  • Ability to work with a high busy caseload of participants, meet deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • The ability to work autonomously and contribute to a team environment.
  • Strong technology-based skills, including client information management systems and Microsoft Office suite of products.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to think creatively, work resourcefully and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
