About the Role

VMCH is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to develop and implement high-quality services to support individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and independence within their community.

About You

You will be a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist with a genuine interest in the health and wellbeing of adults with disabilities. You will have outstanding communication skills, time management, and problem-solving skills, and enjoy working with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Provide specialist assessment and intervention with disability clients who have multiple and complex support needs.
  • Engage in collaborative goal setting with clients and their support networks to maximize independence.
  • Provide therapy supports in the client's chosen environment.
  • Support and direct Allied Health and support staff.
  • Assess for assistive technology and home modifications.
  • Build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders.
