Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a Youth Career Advisor to provide employment support services to young people in the Gold Coast region.

About the Role:

  • Deliver case management and ongoing support services to clients from a dedicated site in the Gold Coast region.
  • Provide individual and group coaching and mentoring services to help clients achieve their employment goals.
  • Establish referral networks to ensure clients have access to relevant job opportunities.
  • Engage with clients, local communities, and stakeholders to promote our services and build partnerships.
  • Ensure effective and efficient delivery of services, meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in the Employment Services sector, ideally within the current Transition to Work contract.
  • Strong case management, coaching, and mentoring skills to work one-on-one with individuals or groups of clients.
  • Ability to work with people to improve their life experiences, focusing on employment through further training and education, work trials, and employment opportunities.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to run sessions and appointments to schedule.
  • Keen organisational and communication skills to create a welcoming, supportive, and empowering environment for clients.
  • Ability to work autonomously within a team environment and meet regular KPIs, targets, and deadlines.
