Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Outbound Operations: Oversee the outbound operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all shipments are processed and dispatched on time.
  • Team Management: Manage and develop a team of 9 operational staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage the allocation of resources to achieve agreed objectives and targets, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Customer Success: Guide the activities of the team to ensure customer success and achieve overall objectives, maintaining and building on effective relationships with customers.
  • Time-Specific Deadlines: Ensure that all tasks are completed to meet time-specific deadlines, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience working in a 3PL warehouse with sound warehousing principles.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven performance management and strong leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Customer Relationships: Highly experienced in building and maintaining customer relationships, with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations.
  • WMS System: Demonstrated knowledge and use of a WMS System, ideally Manhattan.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proven Continuous Improvement and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Software Skills: Superior software skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
