About the Role


We're seeking a driven and motivated individual to join our In-Home Sales Team as a Home Decor Sales Consultant. This is a full-time position servicing local stores and surrounding areas.



Key Responsibilities:


As a Home Decor Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for:



  • Measuring, recording, and configuring specifications accurately and efficiently.
  • Expertly matching our products and services to client needs.
  • SUCCESSFULLY CLOSE APPOINTMENTS by demonstrating our unique Value Proposition and building trust and credibility.
  • Providing high-level client service and following up in a friendly, professional, and timely manner for both internal and external clients.
  • Driving sales, KPIs, and building strong client relationships/communication.
  • Flexible to the needs of the business, including appointment scheduling, annual requests, attending team meetings, and training.


Requirements


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • A valid driver's license.
  • Availability to work full-time across a rotating roster, including 1 late night and 1 Saturday.
  • High proficiency using a PC/Tablet and Microsoft Windows-based programs.
  • The ability to drive within canvassing areas and accommodate to meet the needs of clients outside of assigned areas.
  • 2-5 years' relationship selling experience within consultative and in-home selling businesses or retail environments – ideally Home Decor/Furnishings.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • The ability to work autonomously in a multi-site environment.


Compensation Package


We offer a competitive salary range of AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as:
