Job Title:OSHC Assistant Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic OSHC Service Assistant to join our team at St Michael's College in Beverley. As an OSHC Service Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in Outside School Hours Care.

The Role involves delivering daily quality activities that are safe, fun, stimulating, and educational, supervising and supporting children, preparing and serving healthy food options, creating an engaging and happy environment for children, building meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the community.

About You

  • You have an engaging and warm personality.
  • You have a strong focus on child safety and understanding of mandatory reporting.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You hold a Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care, or be studying towards it, or equivalent.
  • You are willing to obtain a Working with Children Check.
  • You are willing to obtain HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training.
  • You have a Child Protection Certificate.
  • You are available to work Monday to Friday (mandatory).

Requirements

  • Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care, or equivalent.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training.
  • Child Protection Certificate.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday (mandatory).
