We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced real property lawyer to join our national Property & Projects team in Newcastle. As an Associate or Senior Associate, you will be responsible for providing advice on general property law matters including acquisitions and disposals, options, leases, licences, easements, restrictive covenants, Crown Land and regulatory matters.

  • This role will provide the opportunity to work with a highly regarded Partner Katrina Reye and be part of a collaborative team environment that offers interesting and varied range of projects and property matters.
  • You will have between 3 and 7 years of post-admission experience as a real property lawyer and possess excellent technical, analytical and drafting skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Additionally, you will have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, a strong commitment to client service and the ability to manage client relationships.
  • A focus on achieving commercial solutions for clients is essential, along with a keen interest in contributing to the growth and success of our property practice in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley regions.
  • For senior candidates, a willingness and ability to mentor and supervise junior members of the team is also required.

  • Between 3 and 7 years of post-admission experience as a real property lawyer

  • Strong commitment to client service and ability to manage client relationships
  • Focusing on achieving commercial solutions for clients
