About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at Marble. As a key member of our maintenance planning team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our heavy industry equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage equipment life-cycles, maintenance plans, and upgrade schedules to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
  • Analyze monthly equipment downtime to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead investigations into major equipment failures and downtime events to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
  • Report monthly equipment performance metrics to stakeholders, highlighting key downtime causes and recommending solutions.
  • Establish maintenance standards and frequencies for plant assets, guided by a structured approach to ensure optimal performance.
  • Define technical quality standards for maintenance activities and develop work instruction content to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Oversee project life cycles from planning to execution, ensuring operability and maintainability of equipment and facilities.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary engineering qualification (Mechanical/Electrical) with a strong understanding of heavy industry equipment and maintenance practices.
  • Experience with operating CMMS systems to manage maintenance schedules and track equipment performance.
  • Experience in minerals processing and/or mining maintenance reliability, with a proven track record of improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime.
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of maintenance planning and execution principles.
  • Demonstrated capability in effective communication, feedback, and collaboration with others to achieve team goals and objectives.
