Aircraft Life Support Equipment Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Life Support Equipment Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering maintenance services to aircraft life support equipment, ensuring their safety and reliability while meeting the needs of our customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, test, repair and maintain various types of aircraft life support equipment.
- Conduct periodic inspections and checks of life support equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manufacturer specifications.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair activities.
- Communicate with stakeholders to provide information and recommendations regarding equipment maintenance and repair.
- Adhere to safety procedures and standards when working with life support equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Hold a Certificate III in Aircraft Life Support and Furnishings (DEF31712 or MEA30318) or equivalent.
- Extensive experience with military, utility, or medical aircraft equipment is highly regarded.
- Previous experience as an aircraft maintenance engineer is an advantage.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Civil Aviation Regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
