The role of Advanced Clinical Practitioner is an exciting opportunity for a skilled healthcare professional to join our team in delivering high-quality patient care. In this capacity, you will be responsible for leading and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to contribute to resource and health quality development. You will also provide expert nursing assessment and advice for integrated nursing care within a risk management framework.

We are seeking an individual with a strong background in nursing practice, including experience in opioid dependence treatment and Hepatitis C prescribing. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests
  • Develop and evaluate clinical protocols, standards, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to contribute to resource and health quality development
  • Provide expert nursing assessment and advice for integrated nursing care within a risk management framework
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Nurse Practitioner Master's level qualification and NMBA endorsement to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is mandatory
