Airport Safety Manager

We are seeking detail-oriented professionals with excellent communication skills who are passionate about ensuring the safety and security of air travel.
About The Role:
- Play a vital part in maintaining airport security by working closely with a dedicated team of security experts.
- Ensure consistent and standard security protocols are implemented to safeguard passengers and their belongings prior to departure.
- Manage access to sensitive areas, conduct thorough searches, and identify prohibited items.
- Coordinate the efficient flow of passengers through security screening.
- Demonstrate exceptional decision-making and communication skills.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles or a strong interest in working in a dynamic airport environment.
- Willingness to complete comprehensive training to obtain a Certificate II in Transport Security Protection or current possession of said certificate.
- Ability to pass rigorous drug and alcohol screenings and medical assessments.
- Able to obtain an ASIC (Criminal history clearance within the past 10 years), which will be facilitated by our organization.
- A Melbourne Security License is highly desirable.
- Possession of an unrestricted driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotational roster.
