We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to assist in preparing accurate and comprehensive financial statements for boards of directors, management, and governing bodies.


Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting: Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and statutory requirements in financial reports.
  2. Cost Management: Monitor income and expenditure related to the company and examine operational costs.
  3. Financial Advice: Provide financial and tax advice on business structure suitability.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting & Finance is essential.
  • More than 3 years of experience as an Accountant is required.
  • Progress towards CPA qualification is preferred.
  • Skillset: Highly developed problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Skills
  • Detailed knowledge of vendors, distributors, manufacturers, subcontractors, and projects.
  • Experience with client contracts.
  • Tax Expertise: Knowledge of Australian Tax Laws and AASB Accounting Standards.
  • Excel Proficiency: Excellent Excel skills.
  • ERP Systems: Experience with large ERP systems is highly regarded.
