Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Clinical Coding qualifications from Health Information Management Association of Australia or equivalent
  • Experience in abstracting and coding across a wide casemix
  • Sound knowledge of ICD-10-AM 13th edition and national/local coding standards
