Aviation Protection Officer Opportunity:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Aviation Protection Officer to join our team at Newcastle Airport on a part-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking screening activities in a fast-paced airport environment and ensuring compliance with security and safety procedures and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake screening activities in a busy airport setting
  • Ensure adherence to security protocols and regulations
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and qualifications:

  • Ability to complete a Transport Security Industry Checking (TSIC) course
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully pass drug and alcohol screening and medical assessments
  • Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
