About the Role:
Australian Unity is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering in-home support services to our aged care customers, helping them to live independently and remain within their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-home support services: Provide emotional support and companionship to our customers, assist with daily living tasks, and help with household chores.
- Transportation and social support: Transport customers to appointments and social outings, and provide emotional support and companionship.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records and reports, and provide regular updates to our team.
Requirements:
- Current Australian Driver's License: You must hold a current Australian Driver's License and have access to a reliable insured vehicle.
- Fully vaccinated: You must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
- Flexibility: You must be available to work Monday to Friday, within the hours of 7am - 6pm.
- Relocation: You must be willing to relocate to the Lithgow, Portland, Wallerawang, and surrounding suburbs area.
