About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Bakery Manager to join our team at Woolworths Group. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for assisting the Bakery Manager in leading, coaching, and supporting the team to deliver a consistently good offer on our Fresh range.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Bakery Manager in leading the bakery team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Coach and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Support the Bakery Manager in managing the bakery operations, including inventory management, stock control, and quality assurance.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that customers have a positive shopping experience.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
