About the Role

This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams. You will be responsible for analyzing downtime, productivity, and maintenance data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement condition monitoring programs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to provide expert advice on interpreting condition data and implementing corrective actions.
  • Analyze fleet reliability and maintenance performance metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Lead projects to improve equipment health and reduce downtime, resulting in increased productivity and profitability.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, such as Hastings Deering, to ensure seamless support and timely follow-up of actions.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, or Reliability Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in maintenance reliability, fleet performance, or projects within mining or heavy industry.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable outcomes.
  • Knowledge of condition monitoring practices and CMMS systems (Pulse or similar).
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
