The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for designing, setting up, conducting, analyzing, and writing up clinical studies related to infection control.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Review and develop safety and efficacy requirements for product development
  • Design and develop clinical testing protocols, study procedures, and analysis
  • Assist in identifying contract research organisations
  • Develop reporting procedures and case report forms for data collection
  • Coordinate study equipment and materials
  • Perform data analysis, including statistical analysis as required

What We're Looking For

  • Post-graduate qualification in a life sciences research discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical research experience, preferably in microbiology or biochemistry
  • Experience in designing and developing study procedures
  • Experience in a commercial setting is desirable
  • Knowledge of laboratory-based testing in micro and/or biochemistry
  • Experience with QMS systems and documentation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
