About the Job

As a seasoned education leader, you will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence in special education.

You will lead the Special Education Program to improve educational outcomes for students with disability. This involves working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to create an inclusive learning environment that promotes student achievement and wellbeing.

The role requires strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to contribute to improved educational outcomes. You will also be expected to manage resources effectively to deliver high-quality organisational results.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Special Education Program to improve educational outcomes for students with disability.
  • Support the Principal in delivering the school's educational vision and deputising when required.
  • Embed socially just practices and foster a culture of inclusion and high expectations.
  • Build and sustain positive partnerships with parents, agencies, and community stakeholders.
  • Lead curriculum, teaching, and learning innovations that promote quality outcomes for all students.
  • Manage the human, financial, and physical resources of the SEP to achieve organisational goals.
