Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring that they operate efficiently and effectively.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the preventive maintenance programs and conservation practices, using your technical expertise to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-effective solutions.

You will work closely with our in-house teams to plan and manage engineering and operational contracts, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working with various stakeholders, including contractors and vendors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain comprehensive asset registers for all on-site equipment.
  • Plan and manage engineering and operational contract budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules for critical equipment.
  • Monitor and evaluate mechanical and electrical vendors for service quality and statutory compliance.
  • Oversee all technical projects and modifications to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for critical equipment.
  • Implement safety protocols, including CEM inductions for contractors.
  • Manage incidents and emergencies with proper escalation protocols.
  • Identify and implement energy conservation initiatives and service improvements.
